Eligibility & Admission Process

Vikram Sarabhai Institute of Engineering & Technology (VSIET), affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, offers admission to B.Tech & MBA programmes through a transparent and merit-based process in accordance with AKTU and AICTE guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Tech (4 Years)

Qualification: 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM)
Minimum Marks: 45% (General Category), 40% (SC/ST Category)
Entrance Exam: JEE Main (formerly UPSEE) or 10% Reserved seats alloed by the university.

For MBA Edge (2 Years)

Qualificaon: Graduaon in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Category)
Entrance Exam: CUET / UPCET or Direct Admission under Management Quota

Admission Through

1. AKTU Counselling (Based on JEE Main/CUET Score): Seats are allotted via the centralized counselling process conducted by AKTU.
Direct Admission (Management Quota) Limited seats available for eligible candidates based on:
10+2 marks (for B.Tech)
Graduation marks (for MBA)

Direct Contact

Visit the college campus and inquire at the Admission Cell.

Step 02

Fill out the college internal application form (usually online or at the reception).

Step 03

Screening

For MBA Edge, we will conduct Case Analysis (CA), Personal Interview (PI). For B.Tech, it is usually a document verification process.

Step 04

Seat Allotment

Innovation (POC)

If you meet the college internal merit cutoff, you will be issued Provisional Admission Letter.

Step 05

Fee Payment

You must pay the "Seat Booking Amount" to secure the seat.

Note:-

Admission Process of UPTAC will be followed for both B.Tech and MBA Edge.
Seats in Management Quota will be filled as per the AKTU regulation.
